We support our members in the <strong>fight against the precariousness of the courier profession<\/strong>. To do so, we believe in the power of the collective and in workers&#8217; ownership! It is therefore always with pride that we welcome news of a courier organization transitioning to cooperative status. <br\/>It is therefore always with pride that we welcome news of a courier organization transitioning to cooperative status.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&#8220;Faced with uberization, which isolates, we chose the strength of the collective.&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>At the start of 2026, two network members converted to the status of a SCOP (Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 coop\u00e9rative et participative \u2014 a worker cooperative in France). <br\/>First in Nantes, where <strong>Naofood<\/strong> successfully completed a long-term effort that led to this transition. Having merged three activities in 2024, employees now own their means of production. Whether they are worker-members of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lescoursiersnantais.fr\/\">Les Coursiers Nantais<\/a><\/strong> (letter and parcel delivery), <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/naofood.fr\/\">Naofood<\/a><\/strong> (food delivery), or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/latelierduwatt\/\">L&#8217;Atelier du Watt<\/a><\/strong> (bike shop), all of them are now co-owners of their own cooperative. In concrete terms, workers can now claim the value they themselves generate and collectively decide their own future.  <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>Not far away, in Angers, the transition to a SCOP literally saved <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/kliveo\">K&#8217;Liveo<\/a><\/strong> from disappearing. Thanks to the determination of some of its employees, the Angers-based company is now collectively rebuilding its operations, with the support of the Union r\u00e9gionale des Scop et Scic de l\u2019Ouest. After nearly 10 years, the switch for an even more democratic form of governance was needed and prompted this change in status. <br\/>By taking ownership of their working tools, the members \u2014 drawing on their past experience \u2014 are collectively questioning the needs and limits of their own cooperative. For now, you will discover a new name within the CoopCycle network, as one of the first decisions made by this wonderful team was to rename their commercial activity: <strong>welcome to Les Rayonneurs!<\/strong>   <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>CoopCycle enables delivery workers to have decision-making power within their cooperative and to control their own activities. It is a <a href=\"https:\/\/coopcycle.org\/coopyleft\/\">direct alternative to extractive platforms<\/a>, built on a model of autonomy, cooperation, and solidarity. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><em>Rayonneurs (formerly K&#8217;Liveo) has been a member of the CoopCycle federation since 2025, while NaoFood joined the network in 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At CoopCycle, we have been building the alternative to uberized delivery platforms since 2017, alongside our cooperative network.
