Our Software

A complete package for moving stuff and getting paid for it

Our software is not made for just logistics, but for those who want to understand the business behind the logistics.

A versatile software

We are a diverse federation with diverse needs. Our software is made to work for anyone who delivers last mile for local shops and stores, food delivery, large package providers with hundreds of points a day, or anything in between.

Local commerce

From a butchers shop who needs an easy way to make occasional orders, to a flower shop with daily deliveries, to integrations with the online stores of local supermarkets, local commerce is the base of many of our members’ day to day.

Last Mile Providers

With integrations with Last Mile Providers like DB Schenker and with the ability to import hundreds of orders at a time and track their status in real time, we provide a system and contacts that can bring you the work you need to grow.

Food Delivery Marketplace

With our newly re-designed B2C application and the ability to make your own application with your brand name we turn the gig economy into the social economy. If you want to do food tech at scale and stop using WhatsApp to organise deliveries, take a look at what we have.

Features

We are a diverse federation with diverse needs. Our software is made to work for anyone who delivers last mile for local shops and stores, food delivery, large package providers with hundreds of points a day, or anything in between.

Custom App

For local commerce and food tech, we can make unique app with your brand name and colours that you can use with you clients to show off our most important asset: we are local and proud of it

Food delivery

Food delivery is where many of us started and we are proud. Nothing is harder than urgent, hot, and fragile deliveries to individual customers. To do it well, we need the tools to do 100 orders a night, not five.

Local Commerce

You don’t need to be making phone calls all the time, have your clients make simple or complex orders from the app or web platform.

Automated Invoicing

We hate invoicing. You probably do to. Let’s not. Instead, understand the income and costs of your business in a helpful and didactic interface to help you work less and earn more.

Management Tools

It’s difficult to make a business function at the best of times, and even harder when every task requires a new program that charges per user per month. We provide open-source management tools as part of our software to make working less work.

Multi-Function Dispatching

Most logistics platforms try to do only one thing, but our federation has diverse needs. This has led us to have a flexible dispatching set-up that allows you to mix together multiple types of work into one, diversifying your business but simplifying your work.

Business Analytics

The logistics sector wants to eat you alive! Make sure it doesn’t. Our software has built in profitability and loss analytics by month, week, day and hour to help you know where you profitability, and losses, are coming from.

Integrations

We have APIs with common tools like Woocommerce and PrestaShop, as well as many common Last-Mile package providers.

Focus on Last Mile Providers

Do you like toys? We do. And without all that volume, how can you justify an electrified trailer? While the margins can be tight and optimisation complex, we are here to make environmentally sustainable logistics a reality on an international scale.

By providing a last mile solution for international providers in your city, you can create more paid hours during the week for your members and make a difference in the air quality, environmental impact, and street life of our cities.

Our platform allows you to integrate multiple providers into one dispatching, invoicing, incident reporting, and management space. By doing this we can better optimise routes with packages from multiple providers and manage the administrative and financial side of the business to ensure we find our margins as well.

Focus on Local Commerce

Local commerce is often the most rewarding work we have. If you work where you are faster than vans, by scoring a few solid clients you can earn a decent living and work weekdays. You get to work with your neighbours, business partners, and friends.

If you work like a professional and treat people right, you can be a respected part of your community network, always meeting the new people who are trying to build, create and change the place they call home.

While sometimes the local shops are the most price sensitive and most demanding, we play a vital part in helping other small businesses make a living in an increasingly difficult economy and world.

Focus on foodtech

The food tech side of CoopCycle exists to allow you to offer a full service to final consumers, restaurants, and messenger-managers. This means integrated digital payments, dispatching, client management, promotions and discounts, invoicing, and an app for buying the best local food as an individual, a group, or a business.

Foodtech is a hard business for the same reason it is attractive. It is highly complex, requiring constant marketing, commercial capture, a changing workforce, and reduces hundreds of orders into windows of three or four hours. Frankly, this is a lot to ask from a cooperative or social economy organisation, but that’s also what draws us to it.

Foodtech allows us to play with branding, forces us to constantly find new and excited members, offers the opportunity to learn any of a dozen administrative skills, and most of all, means riding fast and riding well.

In a way, food tech has replaced the ‘80s and ‘90s paper deliveries work: using radios, interchanging deliveries between messengers, frantic phone calls from expectant clients…it’s NYC on a fixie but the whole platform is yours to build and own.
